The city wide Shared Care Scheme for substance misuse is based at the Bradshaw Clinic providing support to the General Practices in Derby providing services for the treatment of drug addiction.The well developed Shared Care Scheme has proved highly successful with a number of practices engaged in delivering substance misuse treatment across the city with the most notable success being Lister House.

Co-location with the city wide prescribing service provides support to General Practitioners with a transfer into the city wide service if required. A dedicated Shared Care Team provides additional support through a Shared Care Drugs Worker being attached to sessions run within the community to support the GP in providing treatment.
